Job description

The Data Solution Architect guides the analysis & design & technical activities and artifacts throughout a project.

He defines the solution architecture, taking into account existing standards and system requirements.

Ensures a technical solution in line with the requirements of the client and with the Target Enterprise.

Architecture vision:

· The Data Solution Architect provides the PM with all the necessary data on analysis & design & development activities and on architectural, technical, and operational issues.

· The Solution Architect is end-to-end responsible for the definition and implementation of the solution and ensures that the solution is based on the right trade-off between the different requirements (best-possible solution).

· Create and maintain the solution architecture by means of the Solution Architecture Document (SAD) and obtain its validation in the Architecture Review Board.

Responsibilities:

· Identifies the technologies that will be used for the project in collaboration with Application and Enterprise Architects.

· Recommends the development methodologies, frameworks and coding guidelines considering Architecture standards and the business requirements (functional & non-functional) and ensure their use.

· Provides the overall design and structure of the application.

· Ensures the final solution respects the defined architecture.

· Identifies software engineering tasks for the project manager.

· Coaches and provides guidance to other technical team members (implementers & designers) & helps them with more difficult tasks.

· Assists the project manager in estimating project costs and benefits and for technical aspects Works with testing staff to identify any infrastructure requirements and support needed

· Ensure technical decisions are taken and documented.

· .Maximize reuse of existing assets and guidelines within the scope of the project.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, Should have knowledge/familiar with Databricks, Synapse, Azure Analysis Service, Azure Data Factory, Azure API Mgmt, Azure App Services Azure DevOps, Azure CosmosDB, Azure SQL

Requirements:

· You have a computer science degree or equivalent experience and you have minimum 7 years of experience in the IT sector including 5 years in IT solutions design on complex projects.

· You have excellent communication skills and you can write advanced documents and deliver persuasive presentations.

· You have the ability to define and analyse user requirements and advise customers on scope and options for business and IT improvements.

· You are flexible, pro-active, structured and quality oriented.

· You are a team player and you leverage the knowledge of your peers to build the best possible solution.

Technical:

· You are familiar with Databricks, Synapse, Azure Analysis Service, Azure Data Factory, Azure API Mgmt, Azure App Services.

· Azure DevOps, Azure CosmosDB, Azure SQL.

· You have a knowledge about BI systems s.a PowerBI.

· Ability to design your solution using Archimate modelling language.

· Knowledge of Sparx Enterprise Architect is an asset.

· Good knowledge of cloud platforms. Experience on Microsoft Azure is an asset.
