Software Engineer

We are hiring a senior engineer into our Developer Experience division to build the APIs and agentic tooling that partners and internal teams use to build on Xperience by Kentico., Your users are developers. You do not build the product directly, you build the tools other people use to build it, so the work compounds: every hour you save a partner developer is multiplied across everyone using what you shipped.

You own the full lifecycle: design, implementation, test strategy, documentation, release, and the iteration that comes from watching real developers hit real friction. The agentic tooling space is genuinely unsettled, standards are still moving, and a good part of the job is having an opinion about where it lands.

As social as you want it to be

There is a developer community on the other side of what you build, and the door to it is open. Publish under your own name, demo your work on our developer livestream, speak at meetups and conferences with time and budget behind you, spend real time with partner developers.

• Experience building developer tooling: SDKs, CLIs, APIs, integrations, anything whose users are engineers.
• Hands-on experience shipping with AI: LLM APIs, agentic workflows, MCP, or AI-assisted development tooling.
• Experience with MCP specifically, or with building tools consumed by AI agents.
• Hands-on expertise in C# and .NET.
• Proven experience designing and operating APIs in production, including the unglamorous parts: versioning, deprecation, and not breaking people.
• Ability to write clearly for a technical audience.
• English at B2 or above.
• Based in or able to work from Prague or Brno.

Nice to have

• Czech at B1 or above.
• An appetite for the public side of the role. No existing following required.
• Open source contributions, or a track record of writing or speaking for developer audiences.
• Experience with DXP, CMS, or content platforms.
