At Indra Group, we develop space technology for the missions of the future.We drive satellite, Earth observation, communications, and space defense programs, participating in projects that push the boundaries of technological innovation and knowledge.Join our team working on national and international projects!We are looking for a RTOS Software Engineer with experience in embedded software development for microprocessor-based systems, RTOS environments, and space-related projects to join projects focused on the design, implementation, validation, and optimization of reliable software for GNSS and space systems.What will you do?Design, implement, and optimize embedded software for RTOS-based platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability.Contribute to system conception, specification, and design activities following systems engineering best practices.Develop software in C and Python for ARM-based and other embedded platforms.Support software development activities in compliance with Design Assurance Levels (DAL) and DO-178C requirements.Participate in software verification, validation, quality assurance, and configuration management processes.Produce technical documentation and contribute to the analysis of GNSS systems, signals, performances, and RF interference-related topics.What are we looking for?Don’t worry if you don’t meet 100% of the requirements.We encourage you to apply, learn more about our opportunity, and show us what you can bring to the team.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.More than 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in the space sector.Strong experience in C programming, ARM-based embedded systems, and RTOS environments such as VxWorks, PikeOS, or similar.Experience in software development according to Design Assurance Levels (DAL) and knowledge of DO-178C.Experience with Python programming, software version control tools, and software quality validation processes.Familiarity with ESA ECSS standards and good understanding of GNSS concepts, signals, performances, and RF interference detection.
