Senior Python & AI Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python & AI Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building, deploying, and scaling AI/ML-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development, a solid understanding of Machine Learning and AI concepts, and practical experience delivering production-grade applications in enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services using Python.
• Build, train, evaluate, optimize, and deploy Machine Learning and AI models.
• Develop data processing pipelines, perform feature engineering, and optimize model performance.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI/ML solutions.
• Integrate AI/ML models into enterprise applications using REST APIs and microservices.
• Implement model monitoring, performance tuning, and retraining strategies for production environments.
• Develop reliable and scalable AI/ML solutions following software engineering best practices.
• Ensure code quality, security, scalability, and performance through code reviews, testing, and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and model-related issues in production.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, model approaches, APIs, and implementation details.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

• 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Python frameworks such as:

• FastAPI
• Flask
• Django
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence concepts.

• Strong understanding of:

• Supervised and Unsupervised Learning
• Model Training and Evaluation
• Model Validation
• Feature Engineering
• Model Optimization

• Practical experience with ML/AI libraries and frameworks such as:

• Scikit-learn
• TensorFlow
• PyTorch
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with Git/version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering.
• Experience with LLM application development and integration.
• Knowledge of model fine-tuning and evaluation.
• Experience with AI/ML deployment and monitoring in cloud or enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and production AI systems.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
