Job description

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Web Developer and Web Service API Consultant to join a dynamic team at a client site. This consultancy mission focuses on innovative and agile processes (Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD) to design high-performance and scalable software solutions. Project Details: The project aims to reduce dependency on mainframe systems by migrating BNG, BCE (KBO), and other police data to a modern open architecture. This migration will enhance data accessibility for applications such as PoliceSearch, analytics solutions, artificial intelligence (AI), and Intelligence-Led Policing (ILP)., * Participate in the development and evolution of applications, APIs, and web services within the DECOM program, aimed at migrating police data to a modern open architecture.

  • Conduct technical analysis, design, and develop data exchange services and REST APIs for integrating various police applications.
  • Adapt and enrich strategic solutions such as PoliceSearch and PolLogs, integrating new features related to data analysis, artificial intelligence, and ILP.
  • Develop application components in PHP and JavaScript, participate in defining technical architecture, and collaborate with development teams to ensure high-performance, secure, and interoperable solutions that meet operational needs.

Language Skills: Fluency in French or Dutch is required, with a passive knowledge of the second language. Work Environment: This position is full-time (40 hours/week) with a requirement to be present in the office at least twice a week, depending on tasks and in agreement with the team. Remote work is allowed from home or at the employer’s location in Belgium. The team is multidisciplinary, consisting of a mix of internal and external collaborators.
