Responsibilities Support the factory acceptance process of uncrewed systems, and fault find to sub assembly level should any issues arise. Conduct Quality Assurance activities to ensure UxVs are delivered to the persistently repeated high standard Integrate hardware, software, and networking components into a cohesive system, ensuring seamless functionality. Conduct system testing to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance with requirements. Assist in the identification of technical issues and provide input into a resolution throughout the product/system lifecycle. Maintain technical documentation, including system designs, test plans, and technical reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, software engineers, and hardware specialists, to deliver successful projects. Able to

recommend system improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency, in order to remain at the forefront of emerging technologies. Requirements Served a full Engineering apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject. Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, preferably in unmanned systems or similar autonomous systems, in a Defence or aerospace environment. A good practical understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems. Familiarity with CAD and CAE design tools. Good understanding of systems integration, testing, and validation processes. Experience of Defence standards and requirements is advantageous.
