Senior Java Developer - Elite FinTech - Up to £750 per day

They are looking for an exceptional Principal/Senior Java Developer to join a high-calibre engineering team, working alongside some of the industry’s strongest developers, architects and technical leaders.

Essential

• Strong commercial experience with Java
• Extensive experience developing server-side Java applications
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Experience working on complex, high-scale systems
• Strong understanding of application architecture and design
• Linux experience
• Experience working within financial services, fintech, trading or another highly technical environment
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs and modern software architecture
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with ambiguity and incomplete information

Blockchain/Digital Asset Experience

Experience within blockchain, digital assets or decentralised technologies would be highly advantageous.

The firm is particularly interested in engineers who have hands-on experience working with ecosystems such as:

• EVM/Ethereum-compatible environments
• Canton
• Solana
• Smart contracts and blockchain-based applications
• Blockchain infrastructure and integrations
• Distributed ledger technology
• On-chain data and transaction processing
• Digital asset platforms
• High-throughput or low-latency distributed systems
