Application Support Officer - Arcus/Salesforce Implementation

A large London local authority is seeking an experienced Application Support Officer to support the implementation of a new Arcus solution built on the Salesforce platform.

This is a hands-on technical implementation role, focused on the design, configuration, testing and deployment of a new case management platform, primarily supporting Planning services.

You will work closely with technical teams, suppliers and business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into effective technical solutions and support the transition into business-as-usual service.

Key Responsibilities

· Configure and implement the Arcus/Salesforce solution across development, test and production environments

· Design workflows, forms, permissions, user roles, queues and automation

· Translate business requirements into technical configurations

· Support system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing

· Assist with data migration, validation, reconciliation and defect resolution

· Support integration, reporting and document management requirements

· Work with Planning, Licensing, Regulatory Services and other stakeholders

· Produce technical documentation, support procedures and user guidance

· Support go-live, hypercare and transition into business-as-usual support

· Deliver knowledge transfer and upskilling to internal support teams

· Strong experience configuring and implementing enterprise applications

· Experience with Salesforce, CRM, case management or similar low-code platforms

· Experience designing workflows and business processes

· Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions

· Experience supporting implementations, migrations, upgrades or service transitions

· Knowledge of system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing

· Experience supporting data migration activities

· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

· Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

· Experience producing technical and user documentation

· Good understanding of incident, change and release management

Desirable Experience

· Previous Arcus implementation or support experience

· Experience working with Arcus Global

· Salesforce administration experience or certification

· Experience within local government

· Experience supporting Planning, Licensing, Environmental Health or Regulatory Services

· Experience working with third-party implementation partners

· ITIL Foundation certification
