environments. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience in Java development . Experience with one or more popular Java frameworks and libraries, including: Spring / Spring Boot Hibernate Struts JavaServer Faces (JSF) Apache Commons Guava Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns. Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs. Familiarity with microservices architecture and associated technologies, including: Docker Kubernetes Swagger / OpenAPI Experience with source control systems such as Git. Understanding of software testing methodologies and automated testing practices. Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies. Industry Experience Proven experience delivering solutions within the UK Public Sector . Understanding of Public Sector delivery frameworks, governance, security, and compliance requirements. Experience working on large-scale digital transformation or citizen-facing services is highly desirable. Desirable Skills Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with messaging technologies and event-driven architectures. Familiarity with secure coding principles and application security standards.
