Job description

  • Web application (client-server architecture) with ASP.NET Core in the backend and Blazor (server and Web Assembly) in the frontend.
  • Programming languages: primarily C#, also JavaScript / HTML / CSS in the frontend
  • Database: MS SQL Database - Entity Framework
  • Deployment: Linux Docker Kubernetes
  • Client-server interface: Swagger / NSwag Studio
  • Communication with other services: Kafka Message Bus, e.g., to SAP, LDAP. Further additions planned for this year: LIMS, technical equipment.
  • Logging: Splunk
  • Authentication: Keycloak
  • Source code management and organizational tool: Microsoft Azure with Git

Tasks

  • Product development: Further development of the customer’s existing web applications using the aforementioned technology stack.
  • Feasibility studies: For interested parties from new departments / business units, you develop pilot applications to verify your requirements.
  • Implementation: As a member of the development team, you will implement the requirements in close coordination with the PO and other stakeholders (operations manager, department head, lab manager, etc).
  • Presentation: In regularly held meetings, you present the newly developed features to the team and stakeholders.
  • Requirements Engineering : Together with the team and various stakeholders, you identify new requirements.
  • Description of User Stories: You formulate the requirements in the form of user stories so that they can be estimated by the team., * Extensive training and a team are available to answer your questions.

Requirements

  • Relevant professional experience in comparable software projects
  • Ideally, experience with software projects in an industrial environment.
  • Good to very good knowledge of software development with C#
  • Good knowledge of developing and maintaining SQL databases
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Experience with ORM mappers such as Entity Framework, NHibernate, etc.
  • Experience with microservice architecture
  • Confident demeanor towards customers: Clarification of requirements, technical coordination, presentation of the development status.
  • Experience in agile software development, e.g. according to Scrum or Kanban.
  • A structured, proactive work style, as well as team spirit and good communication within the team.
  • Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
