Job description
We are seeking a talented Principal Data & AI Architect to join our growing Data & AI Practice. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex digital transformation programmes, shape enterprise Data & AI strategies, and support high-value customer engagements across both public and private sector organisations., As a Principal Data & AI Architect, you will work closely with sales teams, consulting leaders, architects, engineers, delivery teams, alliance partners, and executive stakeholders to define innovative technology solutions that create measurable business value. You will play a pivotal role in pre-sales, solution development, bid support, architecture governance, and service line growth., * Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, business leaders, and technical stakeholders.
- Lead Data & AI discovery workshops, assessments, and strategic advisory engagements.
- Define enterprise Data & AI roadmaps aligned to customer business objectives.
- Architect modern data platforms, AI solutions, analytics platforms, and cloud-native data ecosystems.
- Lead technical pre-sales activities, solution design, estimations, and proposal development.
- Support public sector bids, procurements, RFPs, and framework submissions.
- Drive innovation and thought leadership across Data & AI capabilities, offerings, and accelerators.
- Collaborate with strategic technology partners including Microsoft, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, and Informatica.
Requirements
- 15+ years’ experience within Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Data Architecture.
- Strong experience designing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, Informatica, and Spark-based technologies.
- Extensive expertise in Data Integration and Orchestration technologies including Azure Data Factory, Glue, APIs, MuleSoft, and Informatica.
- Proven experience with Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Master Data Management, and enterprise data catalogues.
- Strong knowledge of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LLM integration, Vector Databases, and AI governance frameworks.
- Significant experience leading technical pre-sales engagements and developing complex solution architectures.
- Demonstrable experience responding to large-scale public sector procurements, RFPs, and ITTs.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working within consulting or professional services organisations.
- Strong commercial awareness supporting large-scale digital transformation opportunities.
- Experience developing reusable accelerators, thought leadership content, and go-to-market offerings., * Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or equivalent industry experience.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.
- Databricks Certified Solution Architect (preferred).
- Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Certification (preferred).
- TOGAF Certification (desirable).
