Job description

You bring interactivity in graphic designs using international standards such as (x)HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You create and optimize web pages, taking into account browser compatibility and SEO.

Agency.com hires a HTML-CSS artist

The job:

You bring interactivity in graphic designs using international standards such as (x)HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You create and optimize web pages, taking into account browser compatibility and SEO. You also put the final touch to e-mail campaigns. You are part of a team of graphic designers, copywriters and programmers, implementing online projects for various major clients such as Telenet, KBC, Nissan, Nivea or Club Med. Since Agency.com is part of the TBWAGroup Brussels you work together with a wide range of colleagues on exciting projects.

Requirements

You are fluent in Photoshop. You are skilled in slicing up designs in the most efficient way. With beautiful results: correct HTML semantics, CSS templating, JavaScript enhancements and SEO optimized code.

  • You are up-to-date with the latest technologies. You have a thorough knowledge of and passion for W3C coding standards.
  • You have advanced knowledge of JavaScript (preferably JQuery).
  • You are interested in new technologies and innovations. You enjoy toying around with them.
  • You don’t need to be a graphic expert, but you do have a keen eye for layout and typography.
  • You preferably have a few years of experience in an interactive agency. Or you’ve already acquired extensive knowledge in front-end technologies.
  • You are meticulous and able to work independently. At the same time you are a team player with contagious enthusiasm.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems, more specifically Wordpress, Drupal or Umbraco, is certainly an advantage.
  • You understand basic concepts of server-side technologies.
  • Knowledge of PHP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Flash, ActionScript, Silverlight, XML and XSLT is a plus.
  • Knowledge of social media integration (OAuth, Facebook/Twitter API) is a plus.

Benefits & conditions

A super job spiced with splendid challenges.

  • Your workplace is located in the very heart of Brussels, easily accessible by public transport.
  • An extensive pay package with numerous fringe benefits.
  • You enjoy real opportunities to grow within TBWAgroup and our international network.

At Agency.com Brussels you will be working for a full service, interactive media agency with a wide spectrum of activities: websites, campaigns, e-commerce and mail-marketing applications, including the latest possibilities and technologies. You work together with enthusiastic colleagues who like to experiment with creative technologies and communication - with the requisite rewards (and parties) every year. Our clients include Telenet, KBC, National Lottery, Nissan, Mini, Lotus Bakeries, Mars, Club Med, PlayStation and bpost.
