As E-commerce Metric Analyst, you are responsible for the web sales, websites†and online communication quality & performance metrics and measurements: from understanding e-business reporting needs, to implementing appropriate tracking and communicating, As E-commerce Metric Analyst, you are responsible for the web sales, websites’ and online communication quality & performance metrics and measurements: from understanding e-business reporting needs, to implementing appropriate tracking and communicating results to relevant internal and external partners.
Main tasks
- Monitor traffic and usage patterns on the entire Brussels Airlines network of websites using appropriate tools, combining both quantitative and qualitative skills. Identify improvements to Brussels Airlines’ online network based on usage and traffic patterns. Perform online user experience reviews and usability tests
- Produce, maintain and communicate to the e-business team and internal departments, extended actionable conversion reports, competitor tracking, online sales insight and KPI dashboards. Conduct regular reviews across all areas to identify further information needs and ensure proper understanding & usage of the results
- Ensure proper tracking and measurement tools are implemented on the entire online platform; develop best industry practice in online measurement tools.
- Help to understand and analyze online traffic trends and provide insights on overall trends, incoming traffic and on-site behavior. Carry our root-cause analysis to identify the reasons behind skewed data trends.
- Monitor and analyse on-line sales revenues generated by Brussels Airlines using appropriate reporting systems and report regularly to management about performances and target achievement.
Requirements
- Bachelor or equivalent through experience
- Very good knowledge of Dutch, French an English, both spoken and in writing.
- Good knowledge of web analytics, particularly e-commerce metrics, internal/external marketing KPI’s and generation/retention statistics.
- Working knowledge in web metrics tools, spreadsheets and databases.
- Excellent report writing skills, and experience in working with statistics
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables and Microsoft Access.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and strong IT affinity
