Job description

Kforce’s client is looking to add a Full Stack Engineer to their team. This role is a 6-month contract to hire in Saint Louis, MO., Our client is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to help design, develop, and enhance enterprise web applications that support critical business operations. This role offers the opportunity to work across the entire technology stack, building modern user experiences with Angular while developing scalable backend services using C#, .NET, and Azure.

The ideal candidate is passionate about both front-end and back-end development, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and thrives in a collaborative environment where quality, innovation, and continuous improvement are valued. This team is also investing heavily in AI-assisted software development, offering engineers the opportunity to work with emerging tools and modern engineering practices.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise web applications using Angular, C#, .NET, and Azure
  • Build and maintain scalable APIs, backend services, and database solutions
  • Develop modern, responsive front-end applications using Angular and TypeScript
  • Create reusable UI components and help drive front-end architecture and best practices
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across both front-end and back-end environments
  • Develop and execute unit tests while ensuring code quality and maintainability
  • Support existing applications while contributing to ongoing enhancements and modernization initiatives
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience with: C#; .NET/ASP.NET Core; Entity Framework Core; SQL Server; Angular; TypeScript
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern web development principles
  • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with software architecture and design patterns
  • Experience establishing front-end standards, component libraries, or design systems
  • Exposure to cloud-native development, containerization, and CI/CD practices
  • Experience with automated testing and test-driven development
  • Experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives
  • Experience working in financial services or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering workflows

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
