Software Engineer SME (TS/SCI with Poly Required)

At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a Software Engineer, a typical day will include the following duties

• Front End Skills: Salesforce, Single Page Applications (JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML), jquery, jquery UI.
• Back End Skills: REST, Java, JDBC, Oracle Database.
• Build Tools: git, tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java products.
• Documented Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Routine.
• Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS).
• Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks.
• Implement the product’s lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance.
• Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications.
• Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Experience working in an Agile development environments

Desired Skills:

• Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, etc.).
• Documented Experience with Jenkins,GitHub.
• Excellent skills in RDBMS DB Schema design and SQL development.

A candidate must be a US Citizen and requires an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance., Preferred BA/BS or better. Experience Required 15 years: Demonstrated work related experience. Licenses & Certifications
