A federal public department is seeking an external partner to provide a specialized team consisting of two (2) Senior Cloud Architects and one (1) Medior Cloud Engineer. This team will embed alongside internal ICT Service Operations and ICT Service Delivery units to co-build, secure, and maintain a highly robust, scalable hybrid cloud environment. To ensure the required level of delivery and operational support, the selected partner must hold the designations of AWS Premier Tier Services Partner and AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP), with a verified local presence and operational base in Belgium., * Landing Zone Architecture: Design and deploy a robust, secure, and scalable multi-account AWS Landing Zone in close collaboration with internal infrastructure and operations teams.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and manage the overarching organizational structure using IaC principles, primarily utilizing Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.

• Cloud Security & Governance:

• Establish and enforce Service Control Policies (SCPs).
• Configure AWS IAM Identity Center integrated with an external Single Sign-On (SSO) provider.
• Define and apply rigorous data classification and encryption rules.
• Compliance Frameworks: Ensure all cloud architectures and deployments strictly comply with NIS2 directives and ISO 27001 standards.
• Data Management: Define and implement enterprise-wide logging, long-term archiving, and automated backup strategies.
• Hybrid Networking: Set up a dedicated network account enabling secure, two-way bidirectional connectivity between the AWS cloud environment and on-premises enterprise datacenters.

• CI/CD & Automation:

• Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish “Golden Path” infrastructure templates using Terraform to standardize internal development.
• Enablement: Actively lead knowledge sharing and coaching initiatives to upskill and empower existing internal technical teams.

• Cloud Platforms: AWS (Amazon Web Services) - Expert Level
• Infrastructure as Code: Deep expertise in Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation - Expert Level
• Architecture & Security: Advanced Enterprise Cloud Architecture and Cloud Security engineering - Expert Level
• Containerization: Kubernetes - Expert Level
• CI/CD & Repositories: GitLab - Expert Level
• Development: Java - Expert Level
