Job description

As an MES Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions within the pharmaceutical industry, working closely with diverse teams to drive digital transformation on the production floor.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into the design and development of IT documentation related to MES systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment with industry standards.
  • Actively contributing to project success by defining and implementing qualification and validation approaches, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
  • Building strong, sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver updates to system lifecycle documents, including User Requirement Specifications and related documentation.
  • Developing manufacturing recipes in accordance with the ISA88 standard, supporting efficient and compliant production processes within the pharmaceutical environment.
  • Designing and implementing interfacing and communications between MES and ERP systems, ensuring seamless data flow and integration across platforms.

Requirements

  • Has a passion for MES implementation solutions, bringing at least 3 years of hands-on experience with MES platforms and PAS-X, ideally within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering, computer science, or technical discipline.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge-sharing capabilities, actively capturing and sharing expertise with colleagues, and making use of available tools to continuously grow and contribute to the team.
  • Communicates with confidence and clarity, with fluency in both English and Dutch, enabling effective collaboration with local and international stakeholders.
  • Brings a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment and adapting to evolving client needs.
