Job description

This position involves working on a critical stabilization initiative for payment processing and payroll deduction systems. Located in Hartford, CT, this is a contract role requiring expertise in software configuration and development. The role demands experience with payment workflows and advanced development skills., * Analyze and resolve complex payment and money application defects.

  • Design, develop, and enhance solutions using a generic programming language.
  • Troubleshoot transaction posting and reconciliation issues.
  • Investigate root causes of payment processing inconsistencies and implement solutions.
  • Support and enhance billing and payment-related business processes.

Requirements

  • 10 years of software development experience.
  • Experience in supporting production payment-related issues.
  • Expert-level development skills in a generic programming language.
  • Strong database troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with integrations using REST and SOAP.
