Odoo Software Developer

Who we areFilmin is a Video On Demand platform focused on independent cinema and series, novelties and classics.This approach allows Filmin to present an extensive catalog of 15,000 titles, the largest in Europe for a subscription platform and is currently operating in Spain, Portugal.The RoleWe are looking for a Python developer with at least 3 years of experience to join our Odoo development team.You will be working in diferent initiatives ranging from development of new workflows within Odoo to setting up Odoo views and support the different teams using the platform.As part of the technical team, you will work in close collaboration with Filmin’s product team, editorial and administration to improve existing solutions and develop new ones to help the company grow.Hard Skills2+ years of experience with Python.Knowledge of the Odoo framework (developing custom modules, models, views, and security rules).Object-oriented programming and object modeling.Experience with Postgre SQL (writing and optimizing queries).Good understanding of XML, Java Script, and QWeb (for Odoo views and frontend customization).Comfortable working with Git and version control.User level experience in linux command line Soft SkillsOpen-minded and willingness to work and collaborate within a team.Curiosity and eager to learn.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ownership and responsibility over own code.Team player with a positive attitude.What you will doBe an active part in all the stages of development of new custom Odoo modules and features: from the decision-making to the final delivery.Work on the continuous improvement of our internal ERP ecosystem (billing, subscriptions, management tools), refactoring code to improve performance and scalability.Your opinion matters.Integrate Odoo with Filmin’s core platform and third-party services.Pair programming, code reviews and close collaboration with other developers.Help us to improve the engineering culture in the company and share knowledge.What we offerPermanent contractSalary range 35 K-40 K3 days remote + 2 days office (in Barcelona)Flexible working hoursFree Friday’s afternoonFree afternoons in summer23 vacation days + Extra Vacaction (Filmin Days)You can choose your equipmentFriendly environmentAn annual flexible benefits allowance of €1,800 to spend on health insurance, restaurants, transport, etcChildcare allowance (€600 per year)Full coverage of your public transport pass from your home to the office Hiring processInterview with the CTO and Odoo Lead (30min call)Technical interview (30 min call)Final interview (30min call)
