Job description

Design, develop, and support scalable REST APIs and microservices
Build backend services using Python (Flask/Gunicorn) and Java
Develop and maintain API integrations with internal and external systems
Design and optimize data models across SQL and NoSQL databases
Troubleshoot production issues and improve API performance, scalability, and reliability
Participate in CI/CD, testing, and deployment automation
Collaborate with product, architecture, and network engineering teams

Requirements

5+ years API development experience
Strong Python development experience with Flask and Gunicorn
Strong Java development experience
Experience building and consuming REST APIs
Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or similar
API testing using Postman or similar tools

Preferred Skills

Docker and Kubernetes
Cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Microservices architecture
Telecommunications, Wireless, AAA/RADIUS, or network services experience
Experience supporting customer-facing, high-availability systems
