Fixture Design Engineer in Raymond

This role will focus on reviewing and validating fixture design data and links submitted by suppliers, ensuring that designs are accurate, complete, and positioned where they should be.

We are seeking a CATIA V5 Data Management / Fixture Design Engineer to support Honda’s Body-in-White (BIW) group in Raymond, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with CATIA V5 and a background in fixture design, welding fixtures, or assembly-line fixtures., n \n

• 2+ years of CATIA V5 experience, with strong proficiency in CATIA. \n

• Previous fixture design experience is required. \n

• Welding fixture experience is strongly . \n

• Assembly-line fixture experience will also be considered. \n

• Understanding of automotive Body-in-White (BIW) manufacturing and assembly processes. \n

• Ability to navigate, open, review, and validate complex CATIA V5 assemblies and linked data. \n

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify design/data discrepancies. \n

• Strong communication and collaboration skills. \n, n \n

• Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience. \n

• Experience with BIW tooling, welding, or assembly fixtures. \n

• Experience reviewing supplier-submitted tooling or fixture designs. \n

• Familiarity with CATIA V5 assembly structures, links, references, and data-management practices. \n

• Experience working with manufacturing or production-line tooling. \n

• Review and validate CATIA V5 fixture design data and links received from suppliers. \n

• Open supplier-submitted fixture designs and verify that: \n

• The correct data and links are provided. \n

• Fixture designs are located and positioned appropriately. \n

• Designs are accurate and meet project requirements. \n

• Assembly and fixture relationships are correct. \n

• Support the Body-in-White (BIW) organization with fixture design and data-management activities. \n

• Review welding fixture designs and other assembly-line fixture designs. \n

• Identify missing data, incorrect links, design discrepancies, or other issues. \n

• Work with suppliers, engineers, and internal teams to resolve CATIA data and fixture-design issues. \n

• Maintain a strong focus on CATIA V5 data integrity and design accuracy. \n
