Job description

  • Design, develop, test and deliver new features for web applications suitable for deployment to both the Oracle Cloud and on-premise environments
  • Design efficient database structures and queries
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues within software
  • Collaborate effectively with other developers and stakeholders to resolve issues, establish standards, and drive innovation

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or previous work experience
  • Web development background
  • Solid understanding of modern client-side Javascript libraries such as React
  • Solid understanding of developing server-side functions and APIs utilizing Node.js and Express
  • Proficient experience with designing, querying, and optimizing relational databases through solutions such as Oracle DB using PL/SQL
  • Exceptional analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative mindset with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Hands-on experience using source control tools such as Git, Apache Subversion
  • Knowledge in developing, implementing, and optimizing software algorithms
  • Preferred: Millennium applications experience

Benefits & conditions

US: Hiring Range in USD from $25.48 to $63.65 per hour; from: $53,000 to $132,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
