This exciting and challenging position will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate forecasts and program financial analysis for all programs within the assigned program area. Typically a Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience, Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related degree / and 6+ years of work experience; alternatively, a master’s degree and 4+ years of work experience Experience working with Program Management, Program Controls, Program Finance, and/or Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts and processes in a Government contracting environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools with particular efficiency using Microsoft Excel Experience managing, analyzing, and extracting insights from large datasets Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills Demonstrated ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner Strong interpersonal skills to interact cross functionally Understanding of program costs, revenue recognition, profit, cash and collections Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast paced environment Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with company policies and procedures Preferred Skills and Education Experience with Power Query and Power Pivot within Microsoft Excel Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and Cobra Experience with project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense environment Skilled in implementing effective processes and controls Understanding and knowledge industry practices and standards as well as company policies
