This individual should have deep experience developing custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, and integrations while partnering closely with business stakeholders and technical teams., 1. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business and technical objectives for Salesforce solutions.

  1. Develops Salesforce solutions using TFCU-approved technologies, including Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), ensuring code and configurations are maintainable and aligned with established standards.

  2. Performs unit testing and participates in system testing activities to verify functionality and quality.

  3. Resolves routine development, configuration, and support issues within the Salesforce platform.

  4. Creates and maintains technical documentation, including system documentation, technical specifications, and code comments.

  5. Works with business and other cross-functional stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and support Salesforce solutions.

  6. Participates in code reviews and incorporates feedback to improve solution quality and adherence to best practices.

  7. Monitors and supports existing Salesforce solutions to maintain performance, security, and reliability.

  8. Develops and deploys application updates, enhancements, and defect corrections.

  9. Maintains awareness of Salesforce platform enhancements, development tools, and industry trends.

  10. Supports deployment activities for Salesforce solutions and enhancements.

  11. Provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance to Salesforce users as needed.

  12. Follows modern Salesforce development methodologies and best practices.

  13. Ensures compliance with organizational policies, Salesforce governance standards, information security requirements, and applicable regulations.

  14. Ensures individual and related team performance effectively meets all TFCU Member Services Requirements, TFCU Missions, TFCU Goals/Objectives, and TFCU Policies/Procedures/Practices.

Level II

  1. Performs all functions of Level I.

  2. Designs, develops, and implements moderately to highly complex Salesforce solutions, automations, and integrations.

  3. Implements solutions that improve application performance, data quality, scalability, and operational efficiency.

  4. Analyzes and resolves moderately complex development, automation, integration, and data-related issues.

  5. Performs peer code reviews and provides technical feedback to promote code quality and consistency.

  6. Assists with onboarding and technical training of team members.

  7. Evaluates new Salesforce features and capabilities and recommends solutions that improve business processes or system performance.

Level III

  1. Performs all functions of Level I and II.

  2. Leads technical design efforts for complex Salesforce solutions and validates technical approaches for alignment with architectural and business requirements.

  3. Evaluates emerging Salesforce and related technologies and promotes adoption of capabilities that provide measurable business value.

  4. Mentors junior developers by providing guidance on coding standards, solution design, and Salesforce best practices.

  5. Leads code reviews and establishes development standards to ensure high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions.

  6. Champions best practices in Salesforce development, including version control, testing, deployment, and release management.

  7. Leads root-cause analysis and resolution efforts for complex application, integration, and performance issues.

  8. Provides technical leadership on cross-functional initiatives and serves as a primary resource for complex development and integration projects.

Sr Level

  1. Performs all functions of Level I, II, and III.

  2. Leads all phases of complex Salesforce development initiatives from planning and design through implementation and post-production support.

  3. Serves as the primary technical subject matter expert and escalation resource for enterprise Salesforce applications, integrations, and business-critical solutions.

  4. Provides technical leadership and mentorship across the development team, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.

  5. Partners with leadership to identify development opportunities, skill gaps, and training needs within the team.

  6. Drives continuous improvement initiatives related to development practices, delivery processes, platform governance, and operational efficiency.

  7. Establishes and oversees technical documentation standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and long-term maintainability.

  8. Serves as a trusted advisor on Salesforce platform capabilities, architectural patterns, technology adoption, and long-term solution direction.

  9. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Education and Experience: An associate’s degree in a technical discipline is required for Levels I and II. A bachelor’s degree in management information systems or a related field is required for Levels III. Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education.

Level I: Requires two years of experience in the development, administration, or support of Salesforce platforms. Financial institution experience is preferred.

Level II: Requires three years of experience in the development, administration, or support of Salesforce platforms. At least one year of experience supporting Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is preferred. Financial institution experience is preferred.

Level III: Requires five years of experience in the development, administration, or support of Salesforce platforms. At least one year of experience supporting Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is required. Financial institution experience is preferred.

Sr Level: Requires seven years of progressively responsible experience in the development, administration, or support of Salesforce platforms. At least three years of experience supporting Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is required. Financial institution experience is preferred.

The pay range for this position is $106000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
