Join the ASI Partners family as a legacy person you can come back to or refer others to as a government career source and interview for a direct-hire REMOTE opportunity with a major subcontractor on a long-term contract (potential to 2029) serving a massive IT modernization effort at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)., By establishing a solid data structure and robust DevOps pipeline (using tools like SFDX and Git), the subcontractor we are hiring for helps create the stable infrastructure required for the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, the Taxpayer Advocate Service, and the Office of Appeals to safely adopt these modern AI systems., A Salesforce Solution Architect leads complex programmatic engineering using advanced Apex, LWC, and legacy integration orchestration (REST/SOAP, CDC, Platform Events) in FedRAMP-compliant hybrid environments., + Solution Design and Architecture: Develops high-performance, reusable, and reliable Salesforce solutions, including data models, integration architecture, and automation logic .

• Business Process Analysis: Identify opportunities to improve business processes through Salesforce implementation .
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, clients, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project strategies and effective collaboration .
• Governance and Quality Assurance: Review developer work, participate in code reviews, and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices .
• System Administration Support: Provide support for internal and customer-facing Salesforce environments .
• Mentorship and Leadership: Advise and mentor teams on technical and functional delivery, guiding best practices and solution implementation.
• Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee full-lifecycle projects from requirements gathering to solution design, development, testing, and deployment.

We are looking for a fully-certified Salesforce Solutions Architect with 5 years+ in architecture, ideally some time with PD2, and experience working on Salesforce/Mulesoft, Agile CI/CD, Security model, Apex, LWC, etc. Having a Public Trust clearance, a SECRET level government clearance, or having a higher-level clearance would expedite your start date on the contract, but we will also consider strong candidates interested in government service that can stay in place for 4-8 weeks while the clearance process finalizes. WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT U.S. CITIZENS and will verify personal information after the initial interview was successful to move forward., Older modernization roadmaps lacked long-term retirement strategies for core mainframes so IRS leadership rolled out a new technical framework stretching through 2029 with heavy emphasis on building a Unified API Layer to unlock legacy data. The IRS plans to wrap up its move toward a single, unified Enterprise Case Management (ECM) system. This platform will consolidate siloed databases and allow employees to support taxpayers from a single interface., + Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect or similar role.

• 6+ years of Salesforce development; Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PD2) and AI Specialist required; demonstrated legacy integration and DevOps leadership experience
• Strong Salesforce customization and configuration expertise, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Developer Cloud .
• Experience with enterprise-level Salesforce projects using both agile and waterfall methodologies .
• Current Salesforce certifications such as Certified Platform Developer I & II .
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills .
• Familiarity with integration patterns, application architecture, and security best practices .
• Owns the full release cycle (SFDX, Copado/GitHub Actions), mentors junior developers, and implements Agentforce custom actions with Invocable Apex
• Relevant educational background, typically a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
