Job description

In this position you will serve as multi-source intelligence analyst within the 352 COS, specifically, as a Senior Target Digital Network Analyst (TDNA) Reporter and subject matter expert (SME) for United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) Combat Mission Forces (CMF)/Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber (Air Force) (JFHQC-AF)) Combat Mission Team (CMT) or Combat Support Team (CST) engaged in the processing and exploitation of complex information obtained from multi-intelligence sources, through various means, related to political, economic, social, cultural, physical, geographic, scientific, and/or military conditions, trends, and forces that directly or indirectly affect national security. Provides and enables integrated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities, as well as cyber surveillance and reconnaissance (CS&R) operations, to collect, process, exploit, and disseminate (PED) accurate and timely information that provides the situational awareness necessary to combatant commanders to successfully plan and conduct operations.

Major duties and responsibilities are identified in response to USCYBERCOM, NSA/CSS and Headquarters, United States Air Force (HQ USAF) direction and regulation and the requirements of USCYBERCOM, NSA/CSS, USAF, DoD, and other national agencies.

This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position.

Requirements

Must be able to obtain and maintain a current “Top Secret” Security clearance with eligibility to gain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

Incumbent may be subject to polygraph testing as an inherent primary requirement of their position and must be able to meet NSA personnel security requirements as outlined in current policy.

HIGHLY DESIRED:

  • Advanced Intelligence-related, or Professional/Scientific Degree

  • Previous Experience in Cyber and/or Intelligence Operations

Knowledge of the full range of intelligence research, processing, and exploitation methods, techniques, and practices using multi-source intelligence information to capture and report intelligence information in a usable form that directly or indirectly affects national security; interprets policy and commits resources impacting intelligence capabilities.

Knowledge of advanced USAF and national ISR processing and exploitation, PED capabilities, systems, and multi-source intelligence production policies to process and exploit complex information/situations attained from multiple sources.

Knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations, mission/functions, interrelationships, and operations.

Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing processing and exploitation requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients.

Skill in writing clear and concise intelligence products and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes.

Ability to maintain control of classified material, quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or defend a position effectively., Candidates should be committed to improving the efficiency of the Federal government, passionate about the ideals of our American republic, and committed to upholding the rule of law and the United States Constitution.

Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.

Salary ($111,119 - $144,457) based on experience.

Relocation expenses may be paid.
