Amazon Web Services (AWS) Automotive and Manufacturing team is looking for an experienced and motivated technologist who possesses a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will partner with some of the world’s largest automotive and manufacturing firms, AWS Sales and other AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.

This role will drive AWS technology adoption and revenue growth across assigned automotive and manufacturing customers. As a trusted customer advocate, the Senior Solutions Architect will work directly with leading industrial manufacturers as they reimagine how things are designed, built, and operated. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers navigate architectural decisions across connected vehicle platforms, digital twins, smart factory/Industry 4.0 initiatives, supply chain optimization, and software-defined vehicle (SDV) strategies.

As a key member of the Account Team, you will guide customers’ architectural choices across use cases involving IoT, edge computing, high-performance computing (HPC), security, data lakes and analytics, AI/ML, simulation, and robotics - as well as foundational services spanning compute, storage, and networking. You will provide technical design guidance and thought leadership, contribute to best-practice knowledge sharing within the broader AWS Solutions Architecture community, and help develop reusable industry reference architectures.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software/technology architecture or consulting. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to a solutions architect. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges., * 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience, * 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
• Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private
• Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non-SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI, and data & analytics

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
