Job description
MUST SIT IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS: Miami, Dallas, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Seattle We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help design, build, and maintain modern web applications and enterprise search experiences that deliver highly relevant and intuitive user experiences. This engineer will spend the majority of their time developing React and ~~~ applications while also helping evolve and support enterprise search capabilities across multiple domains and content sources. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, architects, and partner teams to deliver performant, maintainable, and scalable applications leveraging modern frontend frameworks, cloud-native AWS services, and enterprise search technologies., Build and maintain scalable web applications and features using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture patterns. Develop and maintain backend services and BFF applications using ~~~, TypeScript, and AWS Lambda to support application and search-related data needs. Configure, integrate, and enhance enterprise search platforms such as Coveo, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or similar technologies. Design and implement search experiences including indexing, relevancy tuning, metadata strategies, content ingestion pipelines, and search analytics. Partner with product and business stakeholders to improve search quality, discoverability, and end-user experience across multiple content domains. Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement intuitive, consistent user experiences. Integrate applications with AWS services including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and event-driven architectures. Support cloud migration initiatives, tooling modernization efforts, and integrations across distributed systems and data sources. Write clean, testable, and maintainable code using TypeScript, React, ~~~, and modern development frameworks. Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions. Help define and evolve engineering best practices around search architecture, cloud-native development, observability, and service scalability. Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience building highly scalable, enterprise-grade web applications with React, ~~~, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Proven expertise designing and developing modern web applications using React and ~~~, with experience across both frontend and backend architecture.
- Experience implementing and supporting enterprise search solutions, including platforms such as Coveo, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Algolia, Lucidworks, or similar search technologies.
- Strong understanding of search architecture, indexing, relevancy tuning, metadata modeling, content ingestion, and search-driven user experiences.
- Strong experience building backend services and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) applications using ~~~ and Python, enabling seamless integration with distributed microservices, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud-native, serverless solutions on AWS, including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience integrating search platforms with cloud-native applications and services, including leveraging AWS infrastructure to support search, indexing, and content delivery workflows.
- Proven ability to work across domains and data sources, building scalable solutions that aggregate and surface content through enterprise search experiences.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; must be a self-starter, take ownership, and bring an enthusiastic attitude. - Experience designing and implementing micro-frontend architectures, including the use of Webpack Module Federation to support independently deployed and scalable frontend applications.
- Experience building and maintaining Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services using ~~~ and TypeScript to optimize frontend performance and integrate with distributed APIs and microservices.
- Direct experience administering or developing solutions with Coveo.
- Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch indexing strategies, relevancy tuning, query optimization, and search analytics.
- Exposure to e-commerce or digital experience platforms where search is a critical user journey.
- Exposure to payment processing ecosystems, including payment gateway integrations, PCI-compliant applications, and transactional workflows.
