Job description
- Design and develop Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
- Lead API modernization, legacy-to-cloud migrations, and service decomposition.
- Build secure, scalable, resilient, production-ready applications.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and deploy containerized services using Docker/Kubernetes.
- Implement automated testing, monitoring, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call support.
- Conduct code/design reviews and mentor engineers.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, security, DevOps, QA, and business teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices expertise.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and enterprise integrations.
- Hands-on Docker, Kubernetes, cloud, CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle.
- Automated testing with JUnit/Mockito, integration and contract testing.
- Production monitoring with Datadog, Splunk, or similar tools.
- Strong technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Healthcare/claims experience.
- Azure/AKS, Azure API Management, Key Vault.
- Kafka/IBM MQ, Redis, Helm, Argo CD, GitOps.
- OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0/OIDC/JWT, API governance.
- Experience with high-volume systems, resiliency, and legacy modernization.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
