Job description

The ATM Tower team develops software for air traffic management, with a particular focus on video surveillance in the tower - for a closer insight, please see . To strengthen our Scrum team, we are looking for someone who tackles complex problems in a safety-critical environment with creativity, precision, and passion. Who can inspire and guide others in the team with strong persuasion skills. Key Tasks

  • Facilitate and coordinate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement sessions etc.)
  • Support the Product Owner in effective release planning and backlog management
  • Leverage appropriate metrics to promote transparency and drive data-informed continuous improvement (e.g., Burndown Charts, Velocity, Cumulative Flow Diagrams, Release Forecasts)
  • Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress
  • Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on agile principles, Scrum practices, effective collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Support the evolution of cross-functional and team-specific workflows, as well as transparent processes across the organization
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between development teams, Product Owners, System Engineering, Project Management, and other stakeholders
  • Shield teams from unnecessary interruptions and organizational distractions

Requirements

  • Several years of experience applying Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
  • Strong interest in software development and technical concepts within complex systems
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience in developing products for highly regulated industries (e.g. air traffic management, automotive, medical devices, or similar) is an advantage
  • Proven experience coaching and facilitating distributed, multicultural teams
  • Scrum Master certification and knowledge of scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS) are considered a plus
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, coupled with strong leadership qualities, empathy, and sensitivity in conflict situations, and the ability to influence others without formal authority
  • Excellent command of English; German language skills are considered an asset
