Manual Tester

As a Manual Tester, you will play an important role in safeguarding the quality of new functionalities and changes within a complex application landscape.

You will work closely with functional analysts, developers, process managers, and business stakeholders on projects related to investments and wealth management.

Your focus goes beyond executing test scenarios. You understand business processes, identify dependencies across applications, and critically assess the quality of the complete solution.

What you’ll do

• Translate business requirements, functional analyses, and end-to-end processes into relevant functional and integration tests
• Design, execute, and follow up manual test scenarios
• Test both larger features and smaller user stories
• Perform proxy testing within development environments
• Validate deliveries across integration and simulation environments
• Test external software packages and their integration with existing applications and business processes
• Perform functional, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Analyse production issues and contribute to well-founded solutions
• Follow up quality throughout the complete delivery lifecycle, up to and including production
• Identify risks, inconsistencies, and dependencies across applications and processes
• Work closely with functional analysts, developers, process managers, and business stakeholders
• Contribute proactively to improving the overall quality of applications and processes, * Business-critical projects: Work on applications and processes supporting investments and wealth management.
• End-to-end responsibility: Be involved throughout the complete testing lifecycle, from requirements and analysis to production.
• Complex testing environment: Work across internal applications, external software packages, integrations, and end-to-end business processes.
• Professional growth: Further develop your expertise in functional, integration, and end-to-end testing while working closely with experienced IT and business professionals.

To support one of our long-term projects in the financial sector, we are looking for an experienced Manual Tester to join our team.

Region: Antwerp

Languages: Professional proficiency in Dutch is required., * Solid experience as a Manual Tester within complex application environments

• Strong experience with functional testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
• Experience translating business requirements and functional analyses into clear and relevant test scenarios
• Experience testing integrations between different applications and systems
• Experience testing external software packages and their integration into an existing IT landscape
• Ability to understand complete business processes rather than focusing solely on individual functionalities
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Knowledge of SAFe is considered a plus
• Experience analysing production incidents or application issues is an asset
