Job description

As a DEVOPS engineer, you are responsible for the management and operation of the AWS Workloads of Client., * Within Client, the central Platform Engineering team is responsible for setting up and operationalizing a central platform, set up in a hub-spoke architecture. This team consists of an Azure System Team and an AWS System Team. *
The team unburdens the project teams by providing central components in the hub and guides them in setting up new spokes and linking them to the hub. *
On this platform, we host building blocks such as Vlaanderen.be, My Citizen Profile, the Flemish Basic Registers and many others. And more projects are ready to be onboarded for the realisation of the most ambitious projects within the Flemish government. *
The Platform Engineering team wishes to further expand its project organization with a medior AWS DevOps engineer. Are you a passionate DEVOPS engineer? Requirements

Higher education (Master or Bachelor) with technical/engineering background or equivalent through experience with ICT technology for which expertise is
required Demonstrable experience for the technology in question or a similar technology
Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR - level C2, * Proven experience with AWS-Must Have (Intermediate - 3 years)
Demonstrable experience in automating CI/CD processes, for example: GitHub, Azure DevOps Pipelines, …-Must Have (Intermediate - 3 years)
Proven experience with Python-Must Have (Intermediate - 3 years)
Proven experience for the technology in question or a similar technology-Must Have (Intermediate - 3 years)
Demonstrated hands-on experience with IaC-Must Have (Intermediate - 3 years)

Demonstrate with one or more cases that you have experience in setting up and maintaining a central hosting platform within a hub-spoke architecture. Describe which central components are essential in this. Please also indicate how many years of experience-Must Have - Yes/No
Proven experience AWS CLI-Should Have (Intermediate - 3 years)
Demonstrable experience within the Flemish government-Should Have (Intermediate - 3 years)
Proven experience with Agile & DEVOPS culture-Should Have (Intermediate - 3 years)
Proven experience with Azure Devops-Should Have (Intermediate - 3 years)
Demonstrable experience with Control Tower & SCP of Security Hub of Guardduty of IAM of Identity center of Inspector-Should Have (Intermediate - 3 years)
Demonstrable experience in managing a container orchestration system, for example: ECS Fargate, Kubernetes, Docker, …-Must Have (Junior - 1 Year)
Demonstrated experience of implementations according to the VO Information Classification Framework (ICR)-Should Have (Intermediate - 3 years)
Demonstrable knowledge of Postgresql, MSSQL or MongoDB administration-Should Have - Yes/No
