Senior Software Engineer (C# .NET)

This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll be involved in:

• Designing and developing scalable, performant and maintainable software
• Building services using C# and .NET
• Working with microservices and distributed systems
• Contributing to architectural and technical decisions
• Working with AWS and modern DevOps tooling
• Writing clean, well-tested code and participating in code reviews
• Identifying technical debt and driving improvements
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues
• Working closely with Product, BA and wider stakeholders
• Supporting and mentoring other engineers where appropriate

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
• Experience with ASP.NET / .NET Core
• Experience building microservices or distributed systems
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform
• Experience developing scalable and resilient applications
• Good understanding of SOLID principles, testing and CI/CD
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Experience within financial services, fintech or another regulated environment would be beneficial but isn’t essential., If you’re a Senior .NET Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and building scalable systems, we’d be keen to hear from you.

Experience with TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Jira or similar DevOps tooling would also be useful. The package

• Up to £100,000 basic
• 20% annual bonus
• 3 days per week onsite in St Paul’s
• 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
