- Work location: Croydon (4 days per week) with 1 day supporting our Field Services team across London. As travel between customer sites is required, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. Expenses are provided for business travel.
- Salary: Up to: ÂŁ45,000
- Must be eligible for SC Clearance (UK resident for the last 5 years)

The role and what youâll be getting up to on a day to day basis:
Weâre looking for an Onsite Support Engineer who enjoys solving technical problems and providing a great customer experience.
Working directly with one of our key customers, youâll provide hands on first and second line support across desktop, laptop, printer, application and installation issues. Youâll also support basic network and server troubleshooting, taking ownership of technical queries and keeping customers informed throughout.
This is a customer facing role where your communication skills will be just as important as your technical knowledge. Youâll need to explain complex issues clearly, manage expectations effectively and remain calm when priorities change.
What youâll be doing
- Providing first and second-line technical support, both onsite and remotely
- Diagnosing and resolving desktop, laptop, printer and application issues
- Prioritising and progressing incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs
- Communicating professionally with customers and internal technical teams
- Supporting technical projects, installations and deployments
- Completing moves, additions and changes
- Assisting with basic network and server troubleshooting and administration
- Maintaining your technical skills and completing relevant training
- Taking ownership of issues through to resolution
- Four working days will be spent onsite with our customer in Croydon, with the fifth day supporting other customer sites across London. Requirements
- Previous experience working in an IT support role
- Strong IT troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of desktop, laptop and printer hardware
- Excellent face-to-face, telephone and written communication skills
- The ability to explain technical issues in clear, straightforward language
- Confidence working independently and managing competing priorities
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Experience supporting technologies such as:
oMicrosoft 365
oExchange
oWindows 10
oActive Directory
oApple macOS and iOS
oSCCM, WSUS or MDT
