Advanced Space Systems Engineer - Remote

As the Systems Engineer, you’ll be responsible for supporting the development of advanced space payloads and avionics, including space-based systems that incorporate digital signal processing algorithms implemented in hardware and software.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience Schedule: 100% onsite; flexible schedules with a 9/80 schedule available if desired Clearance Requirement: Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; U.S. citizenship required, * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field with 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of job-related experience

What Sets You Apart:

• Experience developing digital signal processing algorithms for statistical analysis of signal parameter measurements using techniques from Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory
• Working knowledge of MATLAB for digital signal processing, including related toolboxes
• Background in Radar Processing, RF effects processing/mitigation, Monte Carlo analysis, or Phased Array/Beam Forming
• Experience with Python
• Experience with SmallSat and CubeSat development
• Experience with hardware prototype development, FlatSat, hardware integration, hardware-in-the-loop systems integration, and testing
• Electrical Engineering and/or Systems Engineering experience, particularly with a communications or digital signal processing focus
• Experience with Agile hardware, software, or firmware development
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD
• Experience with Digital Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience with SysML, MagicDraw, and Cameo
• Experience with space payload design, development, integration, or test (I&T)
• Experience identifying opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
