Solutions Engineer

• Work with sales partner(s) to develop territory and account strategies and campaigns.
• Understand customer requirements as they relate to security architectures across data center, cloud, and enterprise environments.
• Track and document aspects of the sales cycle, including elements that are the primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer.
• Lead proof of concept and proof of value engagements.
• Prepare and lead technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.
• Secure orders, guarantee product standards, and assure product delivery.
• Recommend new and improved products to customers and explain how they will be more cost-effective.
• Participate actively within the greater technical team, sharing experience and best practices.

As a Solutions Engineer, SLED (South), you will be tasked with working with State, Local, and Education prospects and customers across the South and Southeast territory, aligning their goals and requirements with the SentinelOne offerings. SentinelOne is seeking a security pre-sales engineer with expertise in the Endpoint Security (EDR), Gen AI Security, SIEM, and Threat Hunting space. We need a self-starter who excels in a high-paced environment, thrives on pitching a revolutionary technology to executives and security practitioners, and will play an instrumental role in accelerating our sales initiatives., * 4 or more years of experience in cyber security, preferably endpoint cyber defense.

• Demonstrable experience in objection handling and positioning against competitive technologies.
• Demonstrable experience speaking to both small and large audiences.
• Concise written and oral communication skills to effectively lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations, and conversations with both executives and technical audiences.
• Demonstrable experience successfully selling to mid-size and large customers.
• The ability to provide 1st-level technical support throughout the sales cycle. Initially the candidate will support the customer through to implementation; in the near future this candidate will be predominantly a pre-sales engineer.
• Basic knowledge of hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies, detection evasion techniques, and notable malware and anti-malware solutions and techniques.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 percent.
• Experience working in the field of computer forensics, security architecture, penetration testing or red teaming, or incident response is preferred.

This U.S. role has a base pay range plus commissions that will vary based on the location of the candidate. The range posted here is the on-target earnings (OTE) for this position, inclusive of base salary and commissions. For some locations, a different pay range may apply.
