UX Designer

We are seeking a highly collaborative and customer-focused Senior UX Designer to join our Applications team. In this role, you will help define and shape the user experience for a strategic, net-new retail application while also enhancing a portfolio of existing enterprise and customer-facing digital products.

You will partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Business Stakeholders, and fellow Designers to create intuitive, scalable, and accessible experiences that improve how users interact with retail technology. This position offers the opportunity to influence product strategy, lead UX initiatives from concept to delivery, and drive meaningful business outcomes through thoughtful design.

Responsibilities

-Lead user experience design efforts for a new retail application from discovery through launch.

-Improve and modernize the UX of existing web and mobile applications across the retail ecosystem.

-Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and journey mapping to identify opportunities for improvement.

-Translate business requirements and customer needs into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

-Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering teams throughout the Agile development lifecycle.

-Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure a consistent experience across products.

-Create and maintain scalable design systems, components, and UX standards.

-Analyze user behavior, feedback, and product metrics to inform design decisions.

-Partner with developers to support implementation and ensure design quality throughout delivery.

-Champion accessibility best practices and compliance standards.

-Present design concepts, research findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

5+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, or a related discipline.

-Experience designing complex web-based or mobile applications.

-Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.

-Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process, user-centered thinking, and measurable business impact.

-Experience conducting user research and usability testing.

-Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles.

-Ability to communicate design rationale effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

-Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams in Agile environments.
