About Morningstar:Morningstar is a leading global provider of independent investment insights, serving both individual and institutional investors across public and private markets.Our offerings include a wide range of data, research, and investment management services, with $300+ billion in assets under management.Operating in 32 countries, Morningstar supports financial advisors, asset managers, retirement plan providers, and more with comprehensive investment solutions.The Role: Our EMEA Managed Investment Data Operations team is looking for an Associate Data Research Analyst to process our data across global markets.We are a team of data analysts who have effective relationships with other teams and are committed to deliver best quality data.As an Associate Data Research Analyst in the Data Division, you will work closely with the Global Data Team and Local Business Representatives, taking responsibility for data coverage, quality, and timeliness to the highest standards.The Operation Data Analyst will form closer links with providers related to data acquisition processes and gain knowledge of our database.The position will be based in our Data and Development Center EMEA in Madrid and will report to the Associate Data Manager.ResponsibilitiesActively collect & Process managed investment data using Morningstar collection systems, and ensure data timelines, completeness, and accuracy to meet business goals.Collaborate closely with the global data teams.Data expert on investment data points, processes, methodologies, calculations & different fund structures.Manage business relationships with fund companies.Connecting with providers & setting up acquisition channels for complex and more advance data as well as acting as a point of escalation.Meet the predetermined production deadlines for internal and external clients.Continuously evaluate procedures, create and enhance analytical tools, and implement process improvement projects.Utilize project management methodologies such as LEAN Six Sigma to track, evaluate and determine resolution approach for complex data issues.Demonstrate a high sense of ownership of the issues in the data ticket queue to be responsive and provide timely updates, follow-up, expedition, and resolution.Understand roles, responsibilities, and expertise of internal partners to expedite issue resolution.Translate requests from internal clients into detailed written specifications and user stories.Improve and document client use cases to ensure any new functionality meets and exceeds client expectationsRequirementsA bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.Proficient oral and written communication skills.Fluency in English and Korean is mandatoryCollaborates well in a team environment, have the ability to communicate and work with team members from diverse backgrounds, in a conscientious and inclusive way.Be client centric.Solid understanding of the financial industry and passionate about investment data.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling high volumes of data and meeting strict deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel andReady to Shape the Future?At Morningstar, every hire we make strengthens our mission to empower investor success.Base Salary Compensation Range EUR **,**,00Bonus Target: 5% AnnualWe expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range.The specific compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.Morningstar’s hybrid work environment gives you the opportunity to collaborate in-person each week as we’ve found that we’re at our best when we’re purposely together on a regular basis.In most of our locations, our hybrid work model is four days in-office each week.A range of other benefits are also available to enhance flexibility as needs change.No matter where you are, you’ll have tools and resources to engage meaningfully with your global colleagues.302_MstarEurServSL Morningstar Europe Services, S.L.
