Software Engineer

Responsible for the architectural design and development of a robust, reusable core framework for industrial gaging systems, providing a scalable foundation for diverse customer deployments. This role focuses on the complete data-to-display lifecycle, involving the coordination of low-level embedded logic with higher-level software layers for comprehensive data management. Specialization includes building mission-critical embedded firmware utilizing bare-metal multicore programming and the Circle framework, while maintaining cross-platform system stability across Linux and Microsoft Windows. To ensure long-term reliability, the position involves designing automated software testing harnesses and hardware-in-the-loop validation procedures. By evaluating system performance and hardware-software integration, the role drives continuous improvements to the development process and integrates modern measurement advancements into gaging technology.

Education: Bachelor - Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study; will accept equivalent foreign degree.

Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as an Electrical Engineer, or in a related embedded electronics software engineering role.

Experience must include at least two (2) years with each of the following:

1. Real-time embedded systems.
2. High-precision data acquisition and signal processing.
3. Cross-functional hardware validation including schematic analysis.
4. Industrial and inter-processor communication protocols, including SPI, I2C, UART, RS232/485, and TCP/IP.
5. System-level software integration.
