Systems Architect - Data Collection & Exploitation

Insight Xcite is seeking a Systems Architect focused on data collection, exploitation, and integration in Reston, Virginia. Work includes developing user requirements, evaluating collection and exploitation systems, building data ingestion solutions, and integrating datasets for analysis. Key Responsibilities

• Work with users and technical partners to define requirements and improve data acquisition, sharing, processing, and exploitation.
• Assess datasets, prepare analytical reports, and integrate structured and unstructured data into existing platforms.
• Develop and test data ingestion, extraction, transformation, and loading solutions.
• Evaluate hardware and software, troubleshoot data issues, document operational processes, and coordinate technical reviews.

• Experience collecting and exploiting data from domestic and foreign mobile applications.
• Experience analyzing data sources, targets, definitions, and relationships across structured and unstructured formats.
• Experience building ETL tools, databases, and software applications; data modeling, testing, documentation, versioning, and backups.
• Experience defining requirements with analytical or operational users and developing test requirements for data-management systems.
• Experience with image analysis, manipulation, and processing using Photoshop or similar tools.
• Experience handling and transferring sensitive data, troubleshooting data issues, preparing task plans and activity reports, and producing operational technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with customer-specific technical collection, datasets, and data collection/repository tools. Location and Travel

Onsite in Reston. Field technical and operational support may require temporary-duty travel. Clearance Requirement

The pay range for this role is:

185,000 - 240,000 USD per year (Government Client Site - Reston VA)
