Deputy Information Technology Director

The Deputy Information Technology Director is a key member of the IT Agency’s leadership team, overseeing day-to-day operations and service delivery across Operations, Systems, Applications, and Information Security. This is an exciting opportunity to support a sophisticated technology environment that includes major City construction projects and extensive public safety operations, as well as help position Ontario for the next generation of municipal technology. Ontario seeks an accomplished, people-focused technology leader with strong communication and relationship-building skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Competitive candidates will offer at least six years of progressively responsible IT experience in a governmental agency, including two years in a managerial capacity. Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
