Test Engineer

• Active Secret clearance required.\n
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics or a related technical field from an accredited college/university and 3+ years of relevant engineering experience or test and evaluation (T&E) experience.\n
• Experience developing and executing test procedures for complex hardware and software systems.\n
• Knowledge of requirements verification, configuration management, defect tracking and test-data analysis.\n
• Employ strong written and verbal communication skills to advise various levels of technology stakeholders, program initiatives and accrediting authorities on security requirements and cybersecurity trends and solutions, to include risk assessments and mitigations.\n
• Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter. \n

Seeking a Mid-Level Test and Evaluation Engineer to support the U.S. Navy’s PMW/A-520 Program Office. The successful candidate will support the planning, coordination, execution, analysis and documentation of test and evaluation activities for within the assigned division. Support the assigned program’s Assistant Program Manager, Lead Engineer and Test IPT to:\n \n \n

• Develop and review test plans, procedures, reports and requirements-traceability documentation.\n
• Support laboratory, land-based, shipboard and operational test events.\n
• Verify hardware, software, interface, interoperability and performance requirements.\n
• Collect and analyze test data, document results and identify system deficiencies.\n
• Track test discrepancies, corrective actions and regression-testing requirements.\n
• Coordinate with government engineers, laboratories, platform teams, test organizations, operational users and industry partners.\n
• Support Test Readiness Reviews, technical reviews and integrate product team meetings.\n
• Prepare technical briefings and communicate test results, risks and recommendations to program leadership.\n
• Facilitate the development and execution of integrated test and evaluation strategies for communications and navigation systems, subsystems, software, equipment and platform integration. \n
