Software Engineer - III

We are seeking a Software Engineer III to join a collaborative development team responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise-scale applications. This role will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from technical design and proof-of-concept work through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java, Spring Framework, SQL, AWS, and Angular, along with a passion for building high-quality software in an Agile environment., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Framework.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and system integrations.
• Develop and support RESTful APIs and web services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established best practices and standards.
• Participate in solution design discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation efforts.
• Analyze application and database performance issues and troubleshoot production incidents.
• Partner with Quality Engineers to develop and execute automated testing strategies.
• Support CI/CD processes and deployment activities.
• Contribute to technology standards and mentor junior team members as needed.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and deliverables with team members and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of software design and web application development experience.
• Strong experience with:
• Java
• Spring Framework / Spring MVC
• SQL and relational databases
• AWS cloud services
• Experience developing and consuming web services and APIs.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Angular.
• Experience with AWS serverless and containerization technologies.
• Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Maven, or other build and source control tools.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of database object creation and stored procedures.
