Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Medical Devices

This is a hands-on senior embedded software engineering role for an engineer who has experience developing complex software for medical devices and electromechanical systems. You will serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert while helping guide software architecture, development, integration, verification, and best practices across the engineering team., You’re a hands-on senior embedded engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and working closely with hardware. You can work independently, provide technical guidance to others, and collaborate effectively across software, electrical, mechanical, systems, quality, and other engineering teams., * 6+ years of embedded software engineering experience

• Medical device software development experience
• Strong C/C++ experience
• Experience with microprocessor-based embedded systems
• Hardware/software integration and debugging experience
• Knowledge of medical device software development and regulatory requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software, Computer, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 6+ years of professional embedded software development experience
• Medical device software development experience, * Understanding of the medical device software lifecycle, design controls, verification, and traceability
• Knowledge of medical device standards such as IEC 62304 and ISO 14971
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, * Experience with STM development environments or TouchGFX
• Experience with Altium or schematic review
• Experience with Bash, PowerShell, or YAML
• Experience working with global product development teams
