Data Architect

Insight Enterprise isseekinga highly skilled and experienced DataArchitectto join ourData Management team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our data infrastructure, responsible for building andmaintainingthe robust data pipelines that power our AI and analytics initiatives, as well as our most critical enterprise systems. You will work withcutting-edgetechnologies and play a crucial part in ensuring our data is clean, reliable, and accessible.

As an Architect I you will:

• Maintain and manage our enterprise-wide datalakehousearchitecture, ensuring its scalability, performance, and security.
• Manage andoptimizethe datalakehouseenvironment, including the Databricks platform, to support both data science and business intelligence needs.
• Build, construct, and manage complex Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and data pipelines to ingest and transform data from a variety of internal and external sources.
• Implement robust data quality checks andmonitoringto ensure the integrity and reliability of all data assets.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure the necessary data is available andoptimizedfor business use cases.

However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering,buildingand managing production data pipelines.
• Data Lakehouse:Expertisewith Databricks for building and managinga datalakehouse.
• Cloud: Hands-on experience with data services in GCP and Azure.
• ETL/ELT: Strongproficiencyin building andoptimizingETL processes.
• Programming: Proficient in Python and SQL. Familiarity with Java is a plus.
• Data Platforms & Analytics: Experience working with internal data platforms like Informatica and a solid understanding of data modeling for analytics platforms such as the Power BI analytics suite.
