Video LED Consultant (Part Time)

Elite Multimedia is looking for an experienced LED/Video Consultant on a part-time, as-needed basis. You’ll serve as our subject matter expert on LED and video gear - keeping the fleet show-ready alongside Operations, and making sure proposed designs are technically solid before they go to clients.

What You’ll Do

• Advise Operations on quality control practices and gear readiness checks before equipment is deployed for a show
• Partner with Operations to troubleshoot recurring technical issues and identify root causes in LED/video gear
• Stay current on new products, panels, processors, and industry trends - and bring that knowledge back to the team
• Evaluate new LED/video products and recommend those with the strongest fit for the fleet
• Work with Pre-Sales Engineering and Account Managers during the proposal process to confirm technical feasibility and spec gear accurately
• Recommend efficient cross-rental substitutions to help manage costs
• Support technical training and knowledge transfer when new equipment is introduced
• Be available on a part-time, as-needed basis to support Operations and Pre-Sales in a timely manner

• High school diploma required
• Several years of hands-on experience specifying, building, and operating LED/video systems required
• Expert-level knowledge of LED/video systems, including panels, processors, media servers, and network/data infrastructure
• Familiarity with current and emerging LED/video product lines, manufacturers, and industry trends
• Strong understanding of live event and production workflows, including how LED/video integrates with other departments
• Familiarity with both Mac OS and Windows OS
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
• Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office and system design/visualization tools (e.g., Vectorworks, WYSIWYG, or similar)

Other Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, bend, or crouch as the role requires
• Work may take place in warehouse conditions (temperatures vary seasonally)

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
