Cyber Security Specialist - Andhers nv group level

As our new Cyber Security Specialist, you sit in the CISO’s office at Andhers nv and work group-wide. You translate the CISO’s strategy and standards into concrete, testable controls, coordinate risk and vulnerability management, and provide independent assurance that controls are effective. Niko IT/OT and Wygwam IT/DevOps remain accountable for implementing and operating them day to day., Are you someone who spots risks before others do? Do you thrive on connecting policy to practice and coordinating across teams? In this role, you act as the group’s security architect, coordinator and assurance function - not as the person operating every control.

• Translate the CISO’s group-wide strategy, standards and risk appetite into concrete, testable controls and evidence requirements.
• Facilitate risk assessments and threat modelling, and coordinate vulnerability management: prioritize findings, challenge remediation plans and verify closure evidence. Remediation remains with Niko IT/OT and Wygwam IT/DevOps.
• Conduct security design reviews for infrastructure, cloud, applications and OT/production projects, advising on IAM, logging, segmentation, secrets, encryption and recovery.
• Coordinate SIEM/SOC use cases, triage and escalation criteria with the divisions and external SOC partners, and support incident analysis, forensics and post-incident reviews.
• Provide assurance over business continuity and disaster recovery by reviewing backup and recovery test evidence; execution remains a divisional IT responsibility.
• Build cybersecurity awareness through practical training and workshops.
• Collaborate with Niko IT, Wygwam IT/engineering, management and external partners on audit evidence and the group’s NIS2 compliance journey.
• Support the CISO with the group risk register, KPI/KRI reporting and control testing, in line with the three-lines-of-defence model.

You’re more than just a specialist - you’re a proactive coordinator with the drive to make security part of our DNA across two very different business environments. You’re curious about new technologies, pragmatic in execution, and resilient under pressure.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience in a second-line security role - architecture, risk, governance or assurance - rather than purely hands-on infrastructure operations.
• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2 and cybersecurity best practices.
• Exposure to both classic IT/OT security and cloud-native/DevSecOps practices is a strong asset, given the role spans a production division and a cloud-native division.
• A relevant certification (e.g. CISSP) is a strong plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills: you can explain complex security topics clearly to a production/OT audience and to a software engineering audience alike.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple teams and divisions, influencing without owning the underlying technical operations.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current cybersecurity trends, tools and emerging threats.
• Pragmatic, stress-resistant, and motivated to hit ambitious goals.
• Profound knowledge of Dutch & English.
