Test Automation Engineer - Cucumber

This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced automation testing professional to strengthen software quality across dynamic technology projects. You will design and execute automated testing strategies with a strong focus on Cucumber and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). Working within an Agile/Scrum environment, you will collaborate closely with development and delivery teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Your work will contribute directly to reliable, scalable, and high-performing software solutions. The role offers exposure to modern technologies, international projects, and diverse technical environments. • Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scenarios to validate application functionality, reliability, and quality.
• Apply Cucumber and BDD methodologies to create clear, maintainable, and business-aligned automated tests.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders within Agile/Scrum processes to define testing approaches and resolve defects.
• Contribute to test planning, execution, analysis, and continuous improvement of automation frameworks and quality processes.
• Communicate test results, issues, risks, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support quality assurance activities across international projects and adapt testing practices to different technical environments.
• Where applicable, work with supporting technologies such as JMeter, Docker, cloud platforms, Jira, Azure DevOps, and microservices.

• Proven professional experience in software test automation and automated quality assurance.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cucumber and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with careful attention to detail and software quality.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with distributed teams.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with JMeter, Docker, cloud environments, Jira, Azure DevOps, or microservices is considered an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining effective collaboration and delivery discipline.
