Platforms Engineer (Brazil)

Architect, build, and scale Parade’s foundational platform infrastructure supporting high-volume logistics transactions and AI systems. Own Kubernetes, cloud, Terraform, CI/CD, observability, networking, security, and distributed asynchronous workloads. Partner with engineering, product, and data teams to improve reliability, scalability, automation, and developer velocity across a fully remote organization., * You’ll own and evolve the core platform systems that process millions of carrier quotes and thousands of automated transactions weekly.

• You’ll design infrastructure that enables freight brokers to reach 50%+ load digitization, transforming one of the world’s largest and most operationally complex industries.

• Thrive in a culture that values autonomy, ownership, and engineering excellence., Support export compliance for unmanned aerial systems: draft, submit, and manage ITAR/EAR licenses and commodity jurisdiction requests; classify technical data; manage license lifecycle and documentation; coordinate with stakeholders and provide licensing guidance as an empowered official.

• 5+ years of experience in platform, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and running microservices in production.
• Strong experience with Terraform.
• Familiarity with GCP (preferred) or another major cloud provider (AWS, Azure).
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, queues, and async workloads (e.g., Google Pub/Sub, Celery, RabbitMQ).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and managing deployment workflows.
• Strong monitoring/observability experience-Sentry, New Relic, Google Cloud Monitoring, logging pipelines, alerting, SLOs.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, secrets management, and environment orchestration.
• Strong communication skills and ability to partner with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Atlantis for Terraform automation.
• Experience with CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or FluxCD specifically.
• Comfortable with Python-based backend systems-frameworks like Django, FastAPI, etc.
• Experience with data ETLs, ideally with Airflow.
• Enthusiasm for using AI-powered coding tools (e.g., ClaudeCode, GitHub Copilot) to improve development velocity and quality.
