Data Analyst R/D

We are seeking a Data Analyst to provide technical and business support to the leadership team and technical staff at an R&D Center in Louisville, KY, with support for a High Throughput Center in Palo Alto. This role will focus on gathering, analyzing, organizing, and presenting operational, business, and technical data while also supporting SAP workflows, purchasing, reporting, dashboards, and process automation., * Collect, organize, analyze, and present operational, business, and technical data.

• Compile, format, and distribute monthly R&D reports, including converting reports from Word to PDF.
• Support SAP workflows, including creating purchase requisitions (PRs), posting goods receipts (GRs), and reviewing and taking action on invoice workflows.
• Support purchasing needs for the Palo Alto site, including equipment, services, and other R&D-related purchases.
• Follow up on new vendor registration and onboarding processes.
• Manage purchasing card (PCARD) purchases and expense reporting for both Louisville and Palo Alto.
• Coordinate sample and other shipment activities for both sites, following the specific processes required by each location.
• Develop and maintain dashboards supporting technical activities, operations, budgeting, and business needs.
• Analyze research data using computational methods and data visualization in collaboration with local and remote technical teams.
• Provide support for site IT and OT needs, including coordinating internal and external support resources.
• Identify opportunities to automate routine documentation, reporting, data retrieval, and other R&D processes using approved AI tools and software.
• Coordinate with R&D staff, purchasing, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and keep activities moving forward.
• Develop and implement improved processes and methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or related role.
• Experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and presenting business or technical data.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with VBA/macros, AI tools, data visualization, or related software is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, purchasing, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Self-motivated with the ability to develop and execute effective action plans.
